DJ Sophia Gunn needed to establish a unique identity for her passion in music. She wanted something “badass”, memorable, original & powerful, while still being feminine. Below you will see the logo options we created, before landing on the final logo utilizing sound waves. We play with type a lot here – trying to find the balance between strength & femininity. For her business cards, we used 100%, thick cotton paper & used letterpress to imprint the design & color. Letterpress is an old printing technique that produces the notion of luxury & texture, making your business collateral or invites “too nice to throw away”.
